From the courts to your closet.
The story behind MeetPlayNow Shop.
It started in a WhatsApp group.
MeetPlayNow began as eight expat padel players trying to fix a Sukhumvit court for a Tuesday night. One WhatsApp group, a shared spreadsheet, and a stubborn commitment to playing twice a week — even in monsoon season. That group grew. Friends brought friends. Tennis players joined. Then badminton, pickleball, squash, table tennis. Today we’re 600+ active members across every racket sport Bangkok plays.
The shop opened because we kept asking each other the same question: “Where did you get that?” Grips, shoes, dampeners, the one shirt that doesn’t drown you in sweat by game three. So we built a shop. Every margin goes back into the league — prize pools, free Sunday clinics, court rentals for newcomers who can’t yet afford a membership. The shop pays for the courts. The courts make the shop honest.
Our promise is simple. Every product on this shop has been field-tested by league members before listing. If something doesn’t hold up, it doesn’t get sold. And if you ever want to send something back — for any reason — we won’t ask questions. We’re players first. We get it.
What we stand for.
Community first
The shop exists to fund the league, not the other way around. Every baht of margin gets reinvested — prize pools, free clinics, beginner courts.
Field-tested
Nothing gets listed until a league captain has played with it. We don’t sell what we wouldn’t put in our own bag.
Bangkok local
Stock sits in a warehouse in Bangkok, not a container in transit. You order today, you play with it this week.
